Northbridge is seeking an experienced .Net developer to work remotely, although preference will be given to those in the Austin, Texas area.  Northbridge provides management consulting services to clients in the environmental arena, especially in the areas of information systems, financial and economic analysis, and program management support.  The firm’s clients include the US Environmental Protection Agency, state and local governments, industry trade associations, and corporations. 

 

The position emphasizes developing, enhancing and maintaining Northbridge technology products and applications for EPA and State environmental programs.  Strong information system development and data analysis skills are required that include demonstrated experience with developing Visual Studio .Net applications.  A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.  

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

 

• Design and development of Microsoft .Net applications, C#, HTML, CSS, AJAX and Java scripting.

• Sencha Ext JS experience is a plus.

• Strong experience with SQL Server databases.

• Sound business analysis skills with the ability to create in-depth SQL queries and reports.

• Report development using SQL Server Reporting Services.

• Experience with data conversion and data migration.

• Ability to follow direction but function independently.
